I have finished the Dark Souls series and Sekiro multiple times, but this FromSoftware masterpiece is just “totally insane” in my opinion. I actually tested this on my PC with an RTX 3080 and 64GB of RAM. The memory usage often hit 14.2GB while I was exploring the Shadow Keep area. Pretty wild, right? But the visual detail is just top-tier.

It turns out the Lands Between is actually huge. Honestly, I have spent over 215 hours just wandering around the map. Sometimes I just stand still and look at that giant golden tree. Duh… it is just “so beautiful”.

But that exploration without a marker is what makes it so great. You want to go anywhere? Just go for it. 😭

I also tried a few other alternative games, but they felt so lacking compared to this one.

I used to think the map would be boring like most open-world games. Turns out, every single corner has a dungeon that is “creepy” as hell. There are around 40 new bosses with move sets that are super hard to predict in the latest DLC. Give me a break. My fingers literally cramped up from trying to parry everything.

Fix Elden Ring Unable to Change Resolution & Freeze:

I actually ran into this problem myself. It would freeze and error out when I tried to change the resolution. Turns out, you just need to go to the GeForce Experience launcher. There are specific settings for Elden Ring there. I changed the resolution through that app and it finally worked! Hmmm, hopefully, this helps.

Update: This issue still exists occasionally. Every time I update my drivers, things get a bit messy. Even the aspect ratio gets weird. Even if I change it in the Nvidia Settings, it just reverts back sometimes. So annoying.
